Family Friendly Airlines

Family Friendly Airlines List (and those that are not)

Since Southwest is no longer family friendly we are starting a list of those airlines that are and are not.

The LA Times Travel Deal Blog has a good list. 

Here is a list of airlines and a note as to their friendliness to families as well as links to their policies:

1. JetBlue (Top choice) - Click here to see their pre-board policy.  It is pretty clear: 
   1. Customers traveling with small children or anyone requiring extra time or assistance
      will be pre-boarded prior to scheduled boarding time.
2. Alaska - No mention of a pre-board policy
3. US Air - Allows pre-board for families with children
   • Pre-board   call - Customers needing assistance and families traveling with   children
4. Delta - No mention of a pre-board policy
5. United - (FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN CAN PRE-BOARD)
6. American Airlines - (FAMILIES CAN REQUEST PRE-BOARD)
