• (A) 10/9/2008:  NC.  The Republican National Committee is using Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden against Barack Obama. The automated calls feature a recording of an independent voter named "Don" who urges people to vote for a presidential candidate who is "ready on day one."  Click here for the full article with audio.
• (A) 10/9/2008: Iowa.  Looks like the same robo call from NC. An automated call going out in Iowa today on behalf of Sen. • (A) 10/10/2008: NC.  A second robo call from the RNC slams Obama on taxes and makes untrue claims that he raised taxes 94 times.  Click here for article and audio.
• (A) 10/15/2008: NC, CO, WI, MO and MN:  The McCain campaign and the RNC are pumping new robocalls into North Carolina that question Barack Obama's patriotism by charging that he and his fellow Dems put "Hollywood above America," another sign that Republicans are seriously worried about losing the traditionally red state to Obama. The robocalls -- which we obtained from a North Carolina reader -- hit Obama for attending a celebrity fundraiser in Hollywood while efforts to address the financial crisis got underway in Washington. A second round of robocalls, also from McCain and the RNC, hits Obama as a tax-hiker, and stops just short of criticizing the big bailout package that McCain has repeatedly taken credit for helping get passed. • (A) WI, NC, CO, OH (10/22):   Giuliani has recorded a new McCain robocall in which he suggests, in effect, that Barack Obama doesn't think sex offenders, drug dealers and murders should have to go to jail, according to Jennifer Henderson, a stay-at-home mom in Maine who tells us she received the call. • (A) WI, IN (10/22):  "Hello, I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC, because Democrats are dangerously weak on crime. Barack Obama has voted against tougher penalties for street gangs, drug-related crimes, and protecting children from danger. Barack Obama and his liberal allies have a disturbing history of coddling criminals. so we can't trust their judgment to keep our families safe." Obama's inexperience when he said that America would face an international crisis that Sen. Obama would be unprepared to handle alone." • OH (10/28): 45212 - RNC / McCain telling the listener "Telling us how Obama is going to raise taxes on us."  As reported by a StopPoliticalCalls.org member.  2 reports.
• (A) NM, OH (10/29):  Hello, I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama and convicted felon Tony Rezko have been friends for almost 20 years. Rezko donated and raised thousands of dollars in political contributions for Obama, and Rezko helped Obama buy his $1.6 million mansion in a swanky Chicago neighborhood. Obama needs to come clean on this deal before the election so that the voters can judge whether Obama received monetary benefits from these Rezko favors. And since the Democrats took control of Congress only a few years ago, they have driven our economy into the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. And what's their solution to the problem? To spread more of our wealth around by raising our taxes and giving it to those who don't pay a single penny of federal income tax. • CO (10/29).  The Catholic Diocese of Colorado Springs issued a statement today that "robo-calls" made by diocesan priest Bill Carmody in support of presidential candidate John McCain's stance against legal abortion, were made on behalf of a group called Informed Catholic Citizens, and not for the diocese. • (10/30):  FL, OR, NC:  Partial Birth Abortion:  Citizens in Oregon, North Carolina and Florida have reported receiving the call, which alleges that Barack Obama will "legalize" the practice if elected president. • (A) OH (11/02):  McCain robo call.  "Those that don't want higher taxes are selfish."  Click here for the audio.
• (A) PA and OH (11/02): Robocall against Obama about Coal. "I'm calling on behalf of John McCain to tell you that coal jobs, which are so important to our community, are in jepardy."  As reported by ABC news.  The quote comes from a January 2008 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle; the Obama campaign says the quote is being “wildly” taken out of context, that in the full interview Obama praises coal and says that the idea of eliminating coal is “an illusion.” Audio and article here.
• PA (11/02).  Rev. Wright robo call.  First reported by StopPoliticalCalls.org.  Confirmed by Ben Smith here.   Barack Obama. His pastor preached God damn America. His aunt is living in America illegally. This illegal alien aunt is living in public housing. Barack Obama accepted illegal campaign contributions from his illegal  alien aunt.
