There is word that John McCain, vilified for his robocalls in the 2008 Presidential campaign, is in the race of his life to retain the Arizona Senate seat that he has held since 1987. He is up for re-election in 2010.
So it is interesting that he is resorting to robocalls to his home state voters.
If you listen closely to the end of the robocall below, he sounds like he is going through the motions. Doing what he "has to do" to win but not really believing what he is saying.
